i think he wish to prove that even if u do a box
and eventualy u fill it up so the units start to spawn out of the box it is beter for u to let them
go to the front then stoping production of "farm unit"
(i think)

1. i dont see how u can fill even a small box 2x2 (it is like max 16 murloks i think)
if u build it in the right time the "farm units" die eventualy from specials
2. and even if it is full i dont see the reason of stoping production of farm (so i think he has a right)
3. i'm too lazy to check if the farm is full so i leave it alone :)

OK well 3 things actually. 1. I was just told by a "pro" (I can't help but laugh at that you will see why) that my farm (8X8) was pointless. Now they had 2 undead massing Deathpits and some sheepage going on mind you. Then he told me I was a noob after I told him to build bloodthirsters because he thinks they suck. And finally after we won he told me I'm a total noob and I should never play again. I just had to get that off my chest. Quite funny really.

Great guide. One question though, how exactly do you use two buildings on the top left and top right area to block them in? It seems to require 3.

Left click your buildings, right click on the ground that upper than buildings, then you have changed the unit appear dirctions, rest of them are the same.

But if you do semi-trapping you don't use murlocs. Semi-trapping actually won the first CF tourney. you build a section with certain units (shaman is a big one) let their buffs build up and then release, they are then effectively "super" units. Very effective early game 3 on 1 lane and other lane gets staff. If the initial pushes of the semi trapping don't work you get screwed though.

you didn't answer my question yet, it doesn't work in 1.11.

no they didn't stack, they just buffed all units instead of 1 or 2. I don't think buffs stacked even in 1.10 or 1.09

So what does kiraice mean by that ? First i thought buff build up means those shamans buff many units before releasing but since he says that way cant work in 1.11, what does he mean ? What kind of buff isnt same with previous version ???

the main point of this type of trapping is not to get multiple buffs, but rather to get huge easily synced waves. Shaman buff has been the same since when shaman was first introduced, nothing has inherently changed about them. Kiraice was confused about the wording of what crackbubba said and in turn confused everyone else with his posts.

Monk your right, but that is why shaman are used in the building of that trapped scenario, I didn't mean that's why they were done

I accept this clarification, thank you.
