Description
Burns and consumes the souls of the living.

Abilities
Soul Consumption
When an enemy dies under the effect of Soulfire, Soulfire spreads to nearby enemies within 200 range. The enemy is consumed by the tower, restoring 5 mana.
Evil Device
Attack speed, trigger chances, spell damage, spell crit chance and spell crit damage bonuses on this tower are applied to Common and Uncommon Darkness towers in 350 range at a rate of 50%.

Level Bonus:
+2% stats
Awaken
Increases the attack speed of towers within 350 range by 50% for 3 seconds and permanently increases the attack speed of this tower by 1%.

Soulfire

This is the discussion thread for the tower update Soulflame Device (1955).
This tower is an update to Soulflame Device v8 (id:1888)

Creator's comments for this update:

Fixed aura lowering the base spell crit chance/damage of towers (it was using the conduit's numbers)
Fixed multishot hitting allied creeps
Corrected awaken duration in short tooltip
Reduced awaken range to match aura range
Added multiboard value for # of awaken casts
Increased damage and spread range of soulflame
Soulflame spread now transfers number of stacks

This tower has been revoked!
Major flaws or imbalances were found. The tower will be removed from the map until these flaws are fixed. If this is your tower, please apply the recommended fixes as soon as possible to get your tower back into the map!

Admin's reason for revocation:
The DoT should not spread to every unit in range, unless splitting the power by number of units in range. Currently (not in 1.09, but this fixed version) the DoT spreading to other creeps has exponential growth, so the base spell damage dealt can reach billions, which is ridiculous.

Also fix the multishot DataB1 from 99999 to 0, so there's no damage cap on multishot.

We'll do these two things with an admin update unless addressed, so no hurries or worries.

Does this tower use autocast? Seems like I have to do it by myself.

The autocast range was a bit low but I increased it in an earlier update.

Also, I think the “Awaken” is related to the debuff duration of this tower, not buff duration, is that correct? Or you've already changed it in the previous version? Cuz I'm not quite sure what you meant by "Corrected awaken duration in short tooltip".

Reason for the update

Reduced number of enemies hit by 2
Reduced soulfire chance and damage but increased duration by 1 second
Soulfire spread range increased but adds 1 stack to all targets like it originally did
