Description
An ancient building still containing regenerating energy to call the stars to the aid.

Abilities
Call of the Stars
Calls 3 waves of stars which fall down to earth. Each wave deals 800 damage in an AoE of 300. Units damaged by this spell are affected by Starburn, making them grant 50% more experience when killed. Starburn lasts for 7.5 seconds.

+0.1% experience
+0.1 seconds duration

Astral Burst
Attacks have a 25% chance to deal 2500 spell damage with an additional 40% spell crit chance and 20% spell crit damage. Also restores 1% of the towers maximum mana.

+0.1% maximum mana
Fading Light
Every creep killed by this tower restores 2% of the maximum mana of the Starcaller.

Spawns 5 missiles that last 12 seconds flying around the tower. Those missiles deal 1050 damage per second to random units in 650 range.

Level Bonus:
+5% orb damage
+1 orb spawned per 5 levels

Take one :) and well :P boekies post is rather true. It's nearly the same without the chain lightning. Maybe change it :) i like the Rocket ability of the Goblin Tinker maybe u can build something astral of it. With AOE Damage/Spelldamage on attack or on activation as u prefer.

As additional ability i would suggest something fitting for astral :D So for example what i dream of is a "magic" to increase the towers range. Make it have a 20 secs cooldown and activate it for arround 5-8 seconds.

Something like: "Energy Burst" Ancient awakenig Energies buff this tower to it's old Power, granting him a 1250 bonus range and 100% Bonus damage for 5 seconds.

Problem is that can't really change the ability a lot, the "missiles" need an exact time of 12 seconds to complete the rotation. Looked everywhere how to fix that but it seems its static in the engine.

Added an Astral Burst ability, hope you like it : ) Unfortunately I can't change tower range for a period of time, and just a +dmg isnt really fancy. Thanks for the suggestions though : )

please use other abilities orbed! has still the storm icon --> sad
think it has to be shackle whatever

please also say that the attacks have a chance to deal spell damage to the target
and if saying the tower gains 1 % or 2% mana please also add 2 % of it's maximum mana the use of restore would be nice here further why not using the starfall icon would fit here nicely i think

Mmh why not? :D I really have to work it out cause i don't tested it myself. Will take some time but i try to make a long range ability. That must be possible. I remember myself the abilty in Custom hero line wars. Eagle eye or something like that which gives a static range bonus, also seen in the Dota sniper guy. I hope this is possible for towers too. maybe u have to trick a bit :P But u are right never seen dynamic range increase. Upgrade for snipers in the melee game is static too. Maybe it's over the top's but would be cool for the tower.

With the Shackeling stars ability, it's still the same ability. I will try to tinker something for you!

this abilities refer to the upgrade used by the normal human units which range can be increased by 200 the problem simply is if an upgrade is researched once it can't be removed again the only thig that can be changes if the auto acquire range *think it's spelled thisway* but then you are able to order the tower manually to attack a target further away than the tower should be able to shoot if not under the effect of that buff
*maybe using something as in flashing monument has been done to prevent the user from setting the towers target to attack you should be able to set the towers baserange so something like 2050 it's normal acquire range to 1000 and increase it via trigger by 1050*

well by simply massclicking the target u want u can make flashing monument attack the desired creep, so thats not ok for me :D
Tinkering a little and seeing how noobish i am at the moment. Maybe we let the range thingy drop :( But would it be ok to have a self buff with high cooldown that drastically changes damage and attackspeed? Like Furbolg but autocast, or cast when needed?
I think thats rather simple.

maybe i just should stop talking :P i still will suggest abilities but i won't try myself, it's too hard for me to understand....

Plz mention its the range around the star, not the tower.

This tooltips is a bit misleading.
1. Its not that clear which max mana we are talking about. (could be tower or creep).
2. Its not mention that this ability works, when the tower kills a creep, not when a creep is killed in general.
3. Also its not clear if it restores mana or increases the maximum. So i suggest:

25% chance to deal 350 spelldamage deals almost no dps and it's not an ability for a unique tower.
