Okay, 2 suggestions:

  1. Think about the "no damage at all". Whats about to
    a) increase ability factor or
    b) Make the tower get a 75% chance to cast one of the other three effects or to deal no damage at all. Then increase the chance by +1%/lvl. So we have no more disadvantages at lvl 25 (:
    I personal dont like negative effects, cause if u are unlucky, you have a great disadvantage from this tower and you want ur gold back ;)
  2. I think listing the effects in the following way would make the ability much clearer:
    Quote:
    Chaotic Attack
    On attack it has a 50% chance gain one of the following 5 effects:
    +1 experience
    +10 gold
    +1500 spelldamage
    0.5 seconds stun
    no damage at all.

    Btw. Use "effects" instead of spells. Cause "1 exp" doesnt seems to be a serious spell to me

Use something like
if true then

endif

to make your code less complicated. Order the effects from best to worst (e.g. gold, stun, damage, xp, no damage) and then use calcChance (with 0.2, 0.25, 0.33, 0.5). That way your tower will benefit from items like Ring of Luck (and you can increase chance with each level).

The chance already increases per level.
50% chance + 1% per level

That is the chance that anything will happen. Not the chance that something good (if the ability does already trigger) will happen. (I was referring to Natac's no more disadvantages at lvl 25 idea)

Tested the tower:

  • Copy and paste attackspeed, backSw1 (is the RawId, I dont know the english word) and so on from the orginal necromancer to this tower. The attack animation looks really strange
  • Quote:

    I think "triggers" is better, cause 2 of the effects starts also with "gain"
  • The "gold" looks abit ugly, cause the gold "+10" is covering the effect description. Perhaps simply remove the "+10" and only show the get-gold-effect.
  • Think about adding an other unit sound to this tower
  • The effect descriptions are a bit hard to ready. Perhaps u can make them a bit brighter?

This dude's interesting, certainly not bad... nevermind I never get him anymore cuz he sux. :(

The gold gain and exp gain are actually really annoying specials because they are only useful early game. Later on you don't need 20 gold, and later on you won't need exp. I understand he's the master of chaos so he should have multiple abilities but those 2 abilities need to be removed and 1 or 2 new ones added in their place. I also recommend making each ability have a different % chance to trigger, like the Elementalist tower from Astral. It's just sad because Elementalist is an uncommon but way stronger than Lord/Master of Chaos.

My suggestions: Increase attack range to 1000, decrease ability factor to 0.5 for Lord, 0.4 for Master, and make this guy a very powerful support caster.
Change Chaotic Attack to:

The Lord of Chaos triggers one of the following abilities on attack:
30% chance to increase the spell damage dealt to the target by 6% (3% on bosses) for 5 seconds. Stacks up to 10 times.
30% chance to increase the debuff duration of the target by 6% (3% on bosses) for 5 seconds. Stacks up to 10 times.
30% chance to decrease the target's armor by 5 for 3 seconds. Stacks up to 5 times.
10% chance to increase this tower's attack speed by 50% for 5 seconds. Does not stack.

Level Bonuses:
+1 armor reduced every 5 levels.
+2% attack speed

The Master of Chaos triggers one of the following abilities on attack:
30% chance to increase the spell damage dealt to the target by 8% (4% on bosses) for 5 seconds. Stacks up to 10 times.
30% chance to increase the debuff duration of the target by 8% (4% on bosses) for 5 seconds. Stacks up to 10 times.
30% chance to decrease the target's armor by 6 for 3 seconds. Stacks up to 5 times.
10% chance to increase this tower's attack speed by 75% for 5 seconds. Does not stack.

Level Bonuses:
+1.2 armor reduced every 5 levels.
+3% attack speed

I'll support those suggestions I've only ever used this tower once and that wasn't for very long lol, desperately needs making useful
